Safety

JDS emphasizes the health and safety of all on-site employees. In fact, safety is a condition of employment, but it does not stop at the hiring phase.  JDS continually trains each employee on how to work safely.

Training is vital.  Senior management established the JDS employees’ Orientation Safety Training and weekly Toolbox Talks.  These guidelines provide the goals, policies, work methods and procedures that ensure employees learn how to work safely.  The Corporate Health and Safety Policy Manual is strictly adhered to by all on-site employees.

Among our ranks are employees with 40-hour Hazardous Material Training and OSHA 10-hour Supervisor Training.

In addition to training, safety audits continually assess the conditions, procedures and practices of employees and allow for timely correction.

By utilizing JDS’s health and safety standards, accidents are avoidable and all work site exposures, which could result in injuries, are controlled.
